Twincam
Urgh I thought I had a blown driver in a isobaric cab I had bought then converted it into a single speaker, it was badly designed and the rear speaker needed to be cut out with an angle grinder! The guy had made it totally impossible to take out the rear speaker! The drivers were just a cheap one (Harley bentons). There seemed to be an odd little farting noise like a blown speaker. Only on the low notes though. So I bought a better driver that matched what I needed (fane sovereign 10 300). Sounded great but the noise was still there possible worse. So all yesterday I chewed on trying to find this noise. Turns out air was escaping via the rear handle and even tho the cab is ported it was still enough pressure to make a noise and I could just about feel it coming out the carpet. The handle does not fit very flush with the cab as its one of those right angle ones. So out with the sealer and the noise appears to be gone. Weird how it sounded just like the cone though. So anyhow I guess I've upgraded the driver I suppose and it does sound better now that the cabs tuning is working correctly. But I didn't need the faff on or the expense at all.
