Sibob
SOLD I don't need, or particularly want, to sell this, it's an excellent bass which I get on with very well! But I have terrible Musicman GAS (I also want some humbuckers in a 5) and I'm on a strict one in, one out policy. So this is the lightweight version of the XJ-1T 5, basically it has a marginally slimmer body, a thinner neck profile, 18mm spacing at bridge as opposed to 19mm, lighter weight Hipshot bridge and so comes in at 9.5lbs. This all adds up to being very playable over long periods! Handmade in Japan. Swamp Ash body Maple neck Rosewood fingerboard Electrum metallic finish (basically like a nice faded shoreline gold) You can read fully about the spec here, mine doesn't' have the Hum Cancelling thing as that's a paid extra, but is a very quiet bass: http://xotic.us/inst...asses/xj-series Because I don't need to sell it, I'm not going to underprice it. Bass Direct have the same bass for £2499 here (same spec): http://www.bassdirec...ht_Gold_RW.html As such, you can get this immaculate (as new) bass, with similarly immaculate case for £2k, £499 off the new price and same condition! This also has the newer script logo on the headstock, which I much prefer, bit more vintagey The three last pics are from the original listing on BDs website, they are of my bass, not the current stock mentioned above. The forum is doing it's usual thing of changing the file format to .ipb, just download the file and rename it to .mp3 to play it SOLD Cheers Si

But no cash to add till at least the new year stunning bass.
I'm in no rush, so who knows I've also uploaded a rough demo I was asked to record recently, sounded like it needed a 5 on it, good chance to hear it 'in the mix' with little (if any actually) processing. Find it in the original post. Some interest, PMs replied too. I'm potentially interested in Lakland & MAYBE G&L USA, again both 5 strings and no Blueburst . Probably Rosewood too.
