only4 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 I have finally realised why I find playing EB/SG style basses so much more comfortable than all the others I've ever played, it's because they lean slightly forward due to the lousy strap button positioning. This got me thinking about LGW Torzal twist basses, has anyone got any experience of playing one? Quote
chris_b Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 They are very expensive so I doubt they've sold many. The design is mainly for RSI sufferers. Quote
only4 Posted October 23, 2016 Author Posted October 23, 2016 I've suffered from wrist problems for around the last five years and found changing to short scale made a big difference and recently found using an EB even better. No matter what strap length or arm hand position I tried ever really made any difference. Quote
MoonBassAlpha Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 If they did a torzal twist with fanned frets, that would really mess with your noggin! Quote
Svend Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Hi MoreBasssAlpha You can easly buy a Torzal Bass with Fanned Fret. Tried One - and I find them very very nice. Quote
visog Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Bass Direct usually have one or two in stock for you to try if you're a right-hander: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Little_Guitar_Works.html Not cheap but apparently they're high end basses with literally a unique design twist... Sibob Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I wouldn't say they're that expensive, they seen comparative with other custom built basses. Si Quote
