paddybass Posted October 24, 2016 Share Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) For sale, a beautiful '74 Jazz Bass with plenty of natural wear, not relic'd, sunburst, maple neck with block inlays, stamped neckplate with serial no 544786, cts pots stamped 7405. In the pic you can see the middle pot is a cts 7405, the neck volume pot has been badly resoldered obscuring the ident but you can tell its the identical same age pot. I replaced the tone pot as it stopped functioning and the original is included, with cap, stamped 7405. The neck pocket and neck have stamps as seen in pics. The pick ups are stamped 74 but the previous owner had them rewound professionally by Wizard pickups. Bridge cover is included which is pitted with age but no screws unfortunately. This bass feels,plays and sounds lovely and I've fitted new Elite Stadiums 40-100. I'll regret selling her but I've got a few more things on the wish list. Comes in a period type case. No trade offers please. Would prefer pick up from Poole/Bournemouth area or a meet up but could courier at cost.
