Deedee
Does anybody have a link to any old Trace Series 6 brochures/catalogues? I have a couple from the era when the SMX range was first introduced, but I'm looking to go back that bit further.

lapolpora
If you're talking about product catalogues, I've actually got old product catalogues for the Mark IV, Mark V and Series 6 ranges! I found them again when clearing out my mum's house when she moved.
Deedee
Yes it's definitely brochures /catalogues I'm after. I'm ok for manuals etc. I know, I know, call it nostalgia but I'm a bit of a sad sack for old brochures of Trace amps that I own/have owned 😉 Edited October 28, 2016 by Deedee
Deedee
Just to resurrect an old thread, I'm still on the hunt for a Series 6 era brochure/catalogue if anybody has one they'd like to part with (hard copy) or pdf's of one you could forward on? Cheers

It's one that covers the original Series 6 models (as shown in the below pic) that I'm after.

Kiwi
Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the Hexavalve?
franzbassist
I remember my first "proper" amp was the Trace Elliot Series 6 1215 combo. Weight a ton, but it was loud as hell and sounded fantastic. I added a Multistack 1x15 and that made it even more incredible. I then replaced the combo with the GP1225V combo. My back doesn't miss Series 6 Trace stuff, but I remember the tone was pretty damn good!

Rather annoyingly the Series 6 brochure seems to be the only one that doesn't list the size and weights of all the products shown. However, one of the next gen (SMX) brochures does still list the Quatra Valve which I'm 99% certain is the same size although not the same weight as the Hexa. It's a good enough guess to work with.
