martthebass
Having just taken delivery of this beast courtesy of a fellow BC'er earlier this week - today is the first chance I've had to have a proper look at it. Looking at the neck construction I could swear it is quarter sawn maple which I thought was a construction only reserved for high end basses (a la US Laklands, Sadowskies and the like). Anyone else got a US G&L who could comment?

martthebass
So now it's clear....this one is a quarter sawn but it's pot luck whether you get QS or flat.

So now you should be even more pleased!!! I'm very pleased with the fretless Jazz and the cash towards my incoming Decade.
martthebass
Indeed I am Dave, just a bit surprised that it is Quarter Sawn on a 'production' bass. Can't wait to see the Decade btw - how long now?

dub_junkie
If your L2500 is a 2007 it'll have had a PLEK set up at the factory before shipping too.
