ambient Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 It belongs to a friend of mine. He's had it in his loft for years. Anyone have any idea as to the make etc ?[attachment=231206:unnamed-1.jpg][attachment=231207:unnamed.jpg] Quote
sblueplanet Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I would also say Hondo. Looks a decent made instrument. How's it play and sound? Quote

He's a lovely old guy, and a great player. Quote
Cato Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I had a Hondo strat a few years ago that had pretty much the same headstock shape, though I realise that's not exactly bullet proof evidence. Quote
Happy Jack Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Funny things, Hondo. Many were so utterly crap that they became known as Horrid Hondo, but some were lovely instruments. Different factories maybe? Or different countries (first Japan, then Korea I believe). Quote

I think this one may have been pimped up a little - this is the first one I have seen with black hardware. If it's up for grabs, I'd take it!! Quote
