Hi all,posting this on behalf of Stevie, I am helping them out depping for a few dates but they need someone permanent, I think they are an excellent band and would join them full time if I didn't have other commitments:[/size][/font][/color]

BASSIST REQUIRED Stevie Jones and The Wildfires are an original four piece acoustic based rock band based in Northants.We have a strong live set, have a following that is positively building, gaining some good radio exposure and have a well-received debut album which we are continuing to promote. We already have tour dates coming up being undertaken now and booking now into next year looking for more dates including festivals and hopefully European gigs.[/size][/font][/color][color=#1D2129][font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif][size=4]
Between us we have a [font=inherit]very broad range of influences and are quite diverse and unique in our sound and songs - but as a rough guide rock or country rock that touches John Butler Trio, The Clash, Steve Earle, New Model Army, Counting Crows, Pearl Jam and Ryan Adams.[/font][/size][/font][/color][color=#1D2129][font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif][size=4]

Our new bassist must be experienced both live and in the studio, have own transport and gear, be local enough to rehearse in Kettering (usually on Sunday afternoons as required), and be flexible enough to be on board for gigs near and far (mainly weekends). We are not a covers act - we are a 100% original band so sometimes there is not much money to be made but we always try and cover expenses where possible. You must be with us because you love the music we create, want to be part of it and help it move forward.[/font][font=inherit]
Ideally looking for someone in age range 24-50.This will not be suitable for anyone also frequently gigging in another projects.[/font][font=inherit]
