XL2A Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009
For a moment there Bob I thought you were talking about Steinlager. They're still very novel I think and a unique combination of radical features and practicality. (Although obviously the lack of a body was a problem for some but thats because size priorities had been placed marginally ahead of comfort. Although this was later addressed with the M-series, I think the M-Series might have actually been a better introduction model). I'd suggest this bass is a master piece of industrial design and deserves to be considered up there with the best.
It IS the best, mate! I sold mine 11 years back (to pay massive household bills!) and finally got it back last year. Won't ever let it go again. Great for reggae!
MattM Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 XL2 now in my appreciative hands, thanks to Max for a great deal, and being a good guy to deal with.
