Rayman
Does anyone play Hysteria live? How hard is it to learn? I've got a bet on with someone to see who can have it gig ready first, it sounds complicated on first listen, and difficult to pick the notes out. EntropicLqd
Want me to PM you the tab I've got worked out for it? It's probably not 100% perfect but it's pretty close (even if I do say so myself). We thought about doing it in Like Sheep. We could all play the individual bits, but when it came to putting it all together we were rubbish. Rayman
Yeah nice one, that'd be great.
bassboy115
it is reasonably easy after a practising it a few times...the hardest part is the part after the chorus.
slaphappygarry
once up to speed its a pretty simple tune but, IMHO, it gets MURDERED live from bands that play it way too fast. Sit back on it, muse don't play it any faster live. G
MythSte
yeahhh ive played it live a few times, Try not to overcomplicate some bits, people wont notice!

Take it easy, relax and it's a piece of piss
Stag
Ive also heard a lot of bassists "over-fuzzing" it... make sure you get the sound right for it and not too death-metal stylee!!! :-)

EdwardHimself
it's easy, a lot of people do like each phrase on one string but i like to skip strings, because that way it's easier (for me) and it sounds less muddy aswell. It sounds hard but it really is piss when u get to learn it.

steve
yeah, easy enough, we were considering covering it but our guitarist doesn't want to
EdwardHimself
^ the usual approach in our band is "sod what jonny thinks" (the guitarrist)

We have another guitarrist aswell now but he's not exactly stalin either.
