ras52
The Dreaming and Aerial for me. Fantastic. .. 50 words for snow leaves me cold, never got hounds of love either.
Ooh, as a fellow Dreaming-lover and Hounds-whateverer, now I want to check out Aerial. (Note to self: in the 21st century it's possible to do this via Spotify/YouTube without buying it!)
GarethFlatlands
Adore Hounds of Love but the only other albums I own are Aerials and 50 Words for Snow which have some great tracks and some which I'm not into. Is the older stuff more like HoL?
bubinga5
I think this a very special piece of music. Written by Peter or Kate I don't know. She's theatrical as well as musical. http://youtu.be/VjEq-r2agqc Edited November 11, 2016 by bubinga5
Mister RLP
The Dreaming, Hounds of Love and Sensual World for me. I can see a clear progression there. Very lucky to see Before the Dawn two years ago. Didn't get a ticket when they first came out and then forgot about it. Then a documentary was on the BBC which made me desperate to get a ticket. I kept trying on the official website and was lucky to get a ticket on the day of one show. Amazing. And great to see/hear John Giblin one of my favourite bassists. JoeEvans
Didn't Danny Thompson play on some of her recordings too?
