Where can I get a custom neck made?

I'm after a Jazz neck made from wenge similar to the pics below, does anybody know where can I get this made for a reasonable price in the UK?

I know Warmoth make them, but they are very expensive, especially after adding duty and shipping costs etc.

How about Shuker. I'm sure I've seen other necks made by the crew there.

Otherwise you may want to drop one of your local luthiers a line. Wenge is not going to be a common off the shelf neck - as you have probably discovered!

[/quote]I've Guitarbuild which is probably where I will get body made, as yet, they don't make any bass necks.

Why not try our own Andyjr1515 or Jabba the Gut - both have shown that their wares are up there with the major manufacturers. Check out Bluejay's blog on the Herts Bash thread to see what I mean.

They are known for making very nice guitars, don't know if they make necks from scratch or buy them in, but worth a call if your investigating.
