Anywhere good to get food near the Manchester arena?

Off to see Placebo a week on Monday with a few mates, does anyone know anywhere close to the Manchester arena where we can get something decent to eat quickly? We will be tight on time and venue food is always overpriced and poor quality in my experience.

Umezushi - cracking Japanese/sushi just across the road hidden in some industrial units on Mirabel St. Tiny place, brilliant food but just got reviewed by the Guardian so it might be hard to get a table. Definitely try though.

Make up a picnic lunch box, with scotch eggs and sarnies, or leek quiches, a tomato and salad; maybe a yoghurt..? Use a disposable cardboard box; job done..?

Walking distance to the northern quarter. Knock yerself out! This and That cafe for cheap but amazing indian, hipster bars, Almost Famous burgers etc...

Thanks everyone, the Almost famous sounds good, as does the sushi bar but as we aren't sure exactly when we will get there I guess it's out unfortunately. Don't do Macy's Ds but sounds an interesting building.

Completely forgot about this, thanks to traffic we ended up with about twenty minutes so phoned ahead and got Dominos pizza from about 20m from the entrance. It was poor if I am honest but if anyone is stuck I doubt there is anywhere closer.
