ChunkyMunky
I play in a couple of originals bands and I use a Musicman Bongo 5HH for essentially everything. I've come into some money and feel like it'd be a great idea to add something to go with the Bongo. For me, the Bongo does everything I need in a pop setting and facilitates the type of sound I like and then some but I wouldn't mind branching out into playing a lot more Latin or Jazz, for example. Let's say you were in my position, you could add a second bass to the Musicman, what would you add? Can be anything below £1,200 or so. I fancy something different but complimentary. Maybe I'm just horrendously indecisive! Fretless? Double bass? Another 5 string fretted electric (as a potential backup)? Grab some headphones for this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n674L2wx5A Thanks.

ChunkyMunky
Dunno but I like the music.
Thank you, bubinga5! Seems like it's competition between an upright and either a Yamaha or a P-bass with flats. Stick some flats on these, maybe?
