I've always wanted an EBMM bass.... but Stingrays always seemed to have too wide fingerboards and seemed a little bulky...so I went and ordered a Sterling. I managed to get a very obliging retailer (it wouldn't be fair to name them - wouldn't want them inundated with requests for profit-free deals...perhaps I will in due course) to order in at a pre price rise price!! Only downside is a SIX month wait!! So I have coming an EBMM USA Sterling 4HH in black with a rosewood board and matching headstock - sometime mid next year. tick tock tick tock Christmas is cancelled but will come again when the sun comes out.... I picked my new one up about three weeks ago and still play it two or three times a day such is the allure! I have a Stingray 5 with the same electronics package and it truly is a great bass for all genres - the slap sound is just fabulous so you're in for a real treat there! Twigman Posted May 3, 2017 Author Posted May 3, 2017 My wait is so nearly over.......got a message yesterday that my new bass has arrived at the dealer.....they're cutting a custom pickguard for it and I should be able to collect it by the weekend!! NBD imminent...it's been a long wait!! Quote
