brian culbertsons Blogs on youtube, anyone been following them ?

Been watching Brian Culbertsons blogs on you tube from building his studio to getting the funk down,
really enjoyed them,
seems to be the way to promo your band and i like it,
noticed "Brother strut" are doing the same sort of thing, i think it makes the tracks more real when you can see the effort that goes into it all, and the gear they are using, which surprised me a bit.
anyone been watching these ?

Also is anyone promoing their band using this method, as im now looking into that for the band im in,
Im new to all this but yea i like it and it seems the way to go.

I've got a few of Brian's albums - great artist making easy to access funk/jazz/groove. I've played them to loads of people who are amazed that they haven't even heard of him.

me too, he is writing loads of great catchy stuff and more to the point very well played,
and as you know some great bass players involved,

I've always liked the videos and the variety of players putting parts down. A few good show vids too.
