jango
Has anybody got any opinions on these yet? Seen them in shops and they look pretty good (look nicer than Mexican Fenders in my opinion) havn't had time to try one yet myself. I know they aren't going to be as good as an old JV squire but they certainly look the part and seem to be great value. What do you think? budget bassist
I'm pretty sure there's one of the single coil type precisions hanging up in a shop near me, i might go and try it out tomorrow

Metal-Mariachi
do you mean the Vintage vibe jazz and the classic vibe '50s and '60 p basses? I tried the VM Jazz. It's very nicely built. sounds pretty good. You wouldn't mistake it for a new American Standard in a blind fold test, but very good for the price. GЯДИКФЯ
I played the 60s P model. Very nice for the cash, had that classic P sound and felt and looked very good. I didn't like the bridge cover though, interfered with my playing as I palm mute a lot

aceuggy
Yep, got one of those, I'm very new to playing bass, so maybe not the one to ask, but I think it certainly looks the part, is well built and sounds lovely. Suffered a bit with buzzing at first, but after playing around with the truss rod now plays really well. As I said I'm fairly new to the bass, so can't compare it to more expensive models, but for the money I'm well pleased. [/quote] the only thing thatd make these look any nicer would be stack knobs (and i know some people would prefer a fender logo, tbh it wouldnt bother me). other than that these are one of the coolest looking basses out.
