hiram.k.hackenbacker
Nothing dodgy going on here I can assure you. A good friend took a few videos of our band last Friday and uploaded them to Facebook, which was great. I asked for them to be e-mailed to me so that I could stitch a few of them for our website. It seems that I wasn't quick enough and they have now been deleted from the device they were shot on. I've Googled it and if you believe what you read then it's definitely doable. So I tried my best and failed miserably. Does anyone have a tried and trusted method, preferably at little or zero cost for doing this? BassBunny
I use Any video Converter. I've tried the Chrome extension and it didn't work for me. With AVC, which is free http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/ you just get the video URL, by right clicking when the video is showing, and paste that URL in AVC and off you go. It actually works with virtually any website, including youTube.
It's just worked fine for me - I downloaded some random cat video no problem. Oh. by the way, whoever uploaded them will be able to download them in FB anyway if they click 'options' at the bottom. No gadgets required.
