Bit of disaster - I somehow managed to pull the volume knob of the stacked control on my Sire. The knob and the spindle have come out and I cant get it to catch inside - its just spinning in the tone pot. I cant figure out how to get it to re-attach. I dont know if I've broken it or just have figurted out how to reassemble it!

Yes new pot required, but in better news that one isn't attached to the preamp pcb so it's a relatively easy fix! Brightside!

Argh - It looks like it IS attached the preamp pcb. This could be an expensive fix!

Must have revised the preamp. On my Sire the volume/tone and blend were not on the pcb. That does make things more awkward...

What impedance are the pots?
Maybe you can use a standard stacked pot and solder fly-leads to the PCB?
