Hello,

I have for sale lovely Lakland precision bass with jazz neck in black. Bass has been cleaned and set up nicely. Fully working order. The truss rod works fine and the neck is straight. Currently set up with fairly low action. Sounds really cool.

Specifications here: https://www.lakland....4-64-custom.htm

I will consider trade/partial trade offers.

Photos can be found here: http://s86.photobuck...w=recent&page=1

Thank you for looking.

Yes, one guy on here listed it and we traded basses - he has my Maruszczyk jazz bass and I got this Lakland - after cleaning, moisturizing and setting up - back for sale as I didn't get along with it as well as I thought I would

Cheers for clearing that up. I don't think there was any clarity on the exact weight, would you have a decent/accurate way of weighing it?

Just checked and on my kitchen scale (accurate to 20g I think) it shows 4.1kg.

Hmmm I had my doubts when the original seller assured me it was 8.2lb! :(

Really appreciate you taking the time and I'm sure this'll find a settled home soon. ;).

These basses were originally known as Bob Glaub basses. Lakland renamed them a few years back.
They could always be specced with a jazz neck, but few made it to the UK with that spec change.

Lovely basses in general and very tempting with this jazz neck.
Buyers will not get a lot of chances with a used one of these.

Lakland pickups?
Well, I am not a pickup expert, it doesn't say Lakland on them but as far as I know the bass is all original (except for the pickguard and pickup screws) and they look like that underneath https://www.talkbass...age-jpg.641207/
I hope that helps. Thank you for your interest.
They should be ''New Lakland Hybrid Split Pickups''.
