Evening all. I've noticed a bit of a hum from my Ampeg SVT-VR which is about 6 months old. I'll be honest, it may have always been there but then my hearing isn't what it used to be. Checked the bias/balance etc. but have read that there may be an inherant problem with the VR of this nature. Any advice from you guys?

Now being sent to Germany for repair, but get this, and I quote
"Before we commence though, I must advise you on the outcome of the modification.
Once the modification has been done on the board, the DI out cannot be switched from Pre/Post EQ anymore.
It will stay as a Post EQ DI out, on both channels. Is this alright with you? "
