Anders1289 Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 [size=4]Please help me to age my Japanese Fender Precision… On the back of the neck, it says [b]“Crafted in Japan”[/b] and the serial is [b]V038245[/b] I have looked all over the net and seem to get contradicting info.. Apparently if it said “Made in Japan” and the serial started with a V then it would be 1996-97 If it says “Crafted in Japan” the serials only go upto R!!! In 1962 electric guitar construction was started. Fujigen has a reputation for excellent quality and craftsmanship so the guitars they produce are highly regarded. They produce guitars via OEM for famous brands such as Ibanez, Epiphone, Yamaha and Fender (the import Special Interest Group nature model), G&L and others.
