warwickhunt Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 I own a pair of 4's and used to own a 5 string and these are simply stunning basses to play... it's almost so cheap that I'm tempted to try 5 stringers again! The 'upper horn' swinging extension makes these a perfectly balanced bass and they are rarely heavy; body is flat on the reverse and convex on the front, so it is slimmer around the edges. You'll also not find a sweeter piezo than this. Do me a favour though Col, snip that D string a little shorter so that it doesn't scratch the lovely headstock.
