addictedtobass
hi guys Small issue involving my eb0 bass. thought i would ask if there is anything that i can do. whilst playing the E & A string have a good amount of punch and volume but the D & G string are drowned out by these and sound weak and quiet in comparison. can i adjust the screws on the pup if so how far do i adjust ? thanks for any help guys Bob
Lozz196
Try half-turns, and do half-turn in on the E/A side, and a half-turn out on the D/G. Repeat if necessary, you shouldn`t need too many to get there.

Ghost_Bass
Check your action, D and G string saddles can go lower than E and A saddles without fret buzz, it will get your strings closer to the pickup and gain some extra punch. Another thing most people doesn't talk about when discussing this issue, how's your EQ? Do you cut the mids and ramp up the lows (the classic "V")? E and A have low end but D and G strings have their punch in the mid-freq region.
addictedtobass
eq settings are fine on the amp , got to the bottom of the problem , the pup was sitting too low in the body cavity a bit more foam sorted it , as for the string adj i have the acursed 3 point bridge so im limited. but it is sounding loads better now. thanks fellas bob
