WITHDRAWN - Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass (Japan) with EMG Pickups £620 £620

I can't believe I'm even contemplating this as this is the nicest Jazz I have ever played, hands down and is the one I thought I would keep forever bud sadly redundancy forces sale.

Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, crafted in Japan with EMG pickups. Now, I was sceptical when I first bought this but believe me, the EMG's really nail that tone. Definitely a very worthwhile upgrade. Everything else is standard apart from the battery box which has been very nicely routed into the back of the bass.

There are a couple of dings, the biggest being on the back but they never bothered me in the slightest.

This has the original Badass II Bridge and comes with a black pickguard. If I can find the white one I will include it in the sale but I'm in the process of moving house!

It has Dunlop Strap Locks fitted which will be included of course.

I'd prefer to ship this in a box with the neck off as it's just safer that way. Please make sure you are happy re-assembling the bass before getting in touch.

Oooh! This used to be mine. Of the three Geddies I have owned, this one was the best. I too sold it due to financial hardship but just can't quite justify buying it back at the moment...

The battery holder was done beautifully by Howard the Bass Doc at my request. I seem to recall it runs the preamp at 18V (two 9V batteries), but I could be wrong?

Anyone who thinks that EMG pickups make a bass sound "clinical/sterile/hifi/cold/etc..." should really give this one a try
