gusto Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Looking for a bass teacher/tutor. I live in Luton, will travel but would prefer to be local-ish. Would like to start improving my general bass vocabulary before I jump into the theory side of things. Theory etc is definitely on the agenda though. Would like to work on all styles of playing including slap, chords etc and all types/styles of music. Please message me if you know of anyone. Quote
TheGreek Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 (edited) I used this series of videos by Scott Whitley (BCer Big Thumb) to learn slap - found them really helpful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GObmwIYwnMQ Nick Smith (DR of the Bass) is a great player and tutor (check out his videos on the Herts bash thread) - lives in Peterboro but may come to you - send him a PM.
