Hard Rock Bass Effect

I've never really been much of an effects user but really liked this tone - totally different to anything I use. What is the effect that helps get this sound? The link should kick in on the bass solo. Thanks in anticipation.

Sounds like there's some overdrive in there too. If you want scooped mids and some dirt then a Sansamp will fitbthr bill. If you fancy doing it forca bit less money then z Behringer BDI-21 will do it all for significantly less

Sounds a bit Darkglass-ish. A B3K or Vintage, or it's brethren the Pike Vulcan would get you there. They all have a clean blend and the drive sound is open and guitar-like rather than fat and wooly like some drive pedals get.

I have the Sansamp already, great pedal

scooped and trebley, sounds great on it's own, disappears into the mix when everybody else kicks in, especially with overdriven guitars, be prepared to be disappointed if you get near this tone, just my opinion of course
