markdavid
Have very recently started playing in a 3 piece playing mainly Cream and Hendrix covers, our guitarist is covering the lead vocals and so wants to simplify his guitar parts a little, as a result he has wants me to take more of a lead bass/solo bass ala Jack Bruce kind of role during verses, thing is i have always been a root fifth octave kind of player so am after some pointers on becoming a more lead bass kind of player , maybe some pointers on some good melodic fills to use , suggestions appreciated , thanks
