PawelG
Hello, I have seen this video a while ago and kept coming back. The sound that this thing has... It's just mind blowing to me. I was curious about other peoples thoughts on that. Obviously, Marcin is a fantastic player so that is one big factor that contributes to its tone but still, absolutely stunning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YAfX4BbAME
BassBus
It's an amazing looking bass. Roundwound strings spoil it for me but then I do like a dark tone on a bass. Love to hear it with flats. Certainly has loads of growl. Wouldn't say no if I was offered it.
Count Bassy
God, that's Fugly.
NickA
We may be listening to the Aguilar Chorusaurus chorus pedal as much as the bass. Nice tho, sounds a bit Eberhardt Weber - who also plays through a stack of chorus effects.

Adrenochrome
I think it sounds fantastic, possibly better without the chorus. I wonder what a 36" scale 4 string fretless would sound like
TheGreek
Love it....looks and sounds fantastic IMO
Cato
Another demo here. http://youtu.be/AOVsCSdn6GA Amazing sounding thing, has an almost John Carpentery synth sound to it. It would definitely work on the soundtrack of Stranger Things.
ambient
I'd like to hear it without roundwound strings.
Spoombung
I'm not a fan of that Symphony bass design but I have one of luthier, Marek's early basses which I really like and play a lot.
Spoombung
A little recording of it here: http://youtu.be/o4oHin_Gh6A
Dazed
I much prefer that earlier model. The stradi is a bit too much for me. Fair enough it's a nod to traditional string instruments, and i guess the oversize top bout is chambered and adds rigidity to the neck. No doubt it's skilfully built. Then again I'll probably like it tomorrow
lowdown
A little recording of it here:
I really like the Bass sound, along with lovely playing and a unique composition (very original and reminds me of what an electric modern day, Carl Stalling piece would sound like) Not keen on the looks though. It does look like it would be at home in 'Looney Tunes' or 'Merrie Melodies' productions. Good stuff.

Unfortunately it generally comes out sounding more like this: http://youtu.be/C9ZPAgIL7hA

I do love the Carl Thompson shape - it makes every other bass shape feel like a big, unbalanced lump in comparison.
Henrythe8
*Show Off Alert* I've been playing my Stradi Symphony since a year. Thre is basically nothing bad to say about Marek's craftmanship. You can see details of my bass here : I've been a pain for Marek, as I requested tons of things that were off his line of work. It's my baby and I'm very proud of playing it. Of course, it looks overkill. but since I play with a Pirate Shirt, waistcoat and Top Hat, it's the right thing for me. Of course, it SOUNDS overkill. P'ups are placed in the P spot and "Almost" MM spot, so they are very usable individually. Marek is really a great guy to work with. And I know I'll need some more money for a second build 🙂
