Guest
For me, that double-neck is only one 'beauty' in that kind of world. Bassassin
I have this: Which is a Gordy Blueshift Custom, from 1985, bit more info here. The band I was in at the time is on indefinite hiatus, so in a sense it's surplus to requirements now (if it was ever needed, really!) - but the fretless neck's the nicest I've played, and the bass is a genuine one-off. Or should that be "two-off"?
RhysP
I very nearly bought an identical double neck Wal from a shop in Birmingham in the mid 80s. Secondhand but in excellent condition & with case - £399.

Geek99
Westone (?) did this in the 90s, you got two necks and could swap them over
No - I think it would be a shame to cannibalise a unique instrument like this - besides the fretless half's perfectly easy to play - all the time you're sitting down! stingrayPete1977
You could soon whip one off and pop it on a cheap P bass body then without permanent damage to the twinny
TheGreek
I've never seen a twin neck that I've liked the look of. The headstocks always look like they're just two separate necks bolted onto a body rather than been designed as a pair with some sort of symmetry. Maybe somebody should make a L/R necked twin neck. ezbass
I find the look of double necked instruments inherently cool (I'd love a Gibbo 1275). However, as been alluded to previously, I have no interest in making my osteopath fabulously wealthy.
