Hofner B2 5 string

Hi guys, my local music shop has one of these headless bad boys / girls (delete as applicable for your personal preference). Is £299 a good price? It's far from immaculate. Thanks in advance.

If I was paying £300 I'd want a tidy one, not perfect, but tidy.

I have one. I find these cricket bats very useful for all kinds of reasons.

I have the 4 string B2A with EMG pickups, great bass. Got mine in vgc with the original hard case (which is vinyl covered and zips up) was less than 300

Cheers all. I appreciate your input. I was shocked with the depth of the neck. Quite deep. I was in a rush, so will go back with more time and take a closer look and get it plugged in. Cheers. 😊

I've owned 2 of these, all-maple and neck-through, extremely punchy tone, excellent basses. £299 is quite high for a 2nd hand one though. Body shape not too good for sitting down, but great for standing up. I moved the rear strap buttom to halfway along the body front for better balance and to shift the bass to the right.
