What would it be? The only condition is that it would be for keeps so not to go for the highest priced, sell it on and buy more :)

Me? it's be the white BBNE2

It would have to be the white Fender Jazz Bass Special. As a Duff McKagan fan I love these basses, but visually they`re not right for my band hence why I haven`t already bought it.

The slab precision, or one of the Foderas, maybe a Ritter.

Got to have a resale worth at least 2 or 3 of the basses I'd really like to own.

As always you have impeccable taste, but I already have a pewter coloured one. So probably that fretless Fender P from 1976.

Ah,

I didn't read that bit.

I'd still be tempted by the slab or the Foderas, just to see what the big deal is.

Steve Harris signature Fender P.

I've been gassing for one of those for a few months now. I'm not sure why now, though. I was a huge Iron Maiden fan when I was a kid, and Steve Harris was one of the main reasons I took up bass, but I had never wanted to own his signature bass. I haven't been able to get into anything by Iron Maiden since Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, but now, after all these years, I want one.

The Sadowsky M24-5

I looked at this just out of curiosity. Obviously I'm aware of Sadowskys, but not necessarily a fan.... then I heard that warm, thick sustain....Oh my word...

I do like this:

http://basschat.co.u...ce-ivory-white/

I think I'd have to change the p/up covers to white and all the hardware to gold though....

I also like this:

So much so that I actually got it...and it plays sweeet...

This would tick all the boxes for me. I had to scroll through a lot of much more expensive basses to find it but this would be the one.

That slab P is definitely very cool though.

That lovely Schecter Hellraiser that some guy has up...

But seriously, this Sandberg that's just gone up. I let out an audible gasp at my work

Old Horse Murphy's Reissue P bass for sure.

I've been drooling over it. I already have one P but I can always justify to myself having two as they are very much my kind of bass.
