blackparkas
Does any of the stores in London generally have any Dingwalls in stock? Going there by the end of January and were hoping to be able to try some out... I noticed that the gallery didn´t have any in stock according to their website. therealting
Don't think so, Bassdirect is the place to try Dingwalls in stock. I've never been though, got both of mine (and the one I had before) secondhand.
blackparkas
That´s a shame. Bassdirect isn´t possible to visit this time. I´d love to try their second hand purple one with wenge neck....

Highfox
I thought this was going to be about the old Dingwalls venue. Lot's of memories good and bad Edit: I should really look at the Thread headings . Edited December 30, 2016 by Highfox

Cato
London Marylebone to Leamington is about 1h 30 minutes, then it's about 5 minute a in a taxi to Bass Direct. Edited December 30, 2016 by Cato
Funk³
The Gallery seems to get them in sporadically, might want to wait and see if they do rather than going all the way to Bass Direct, Edited January 1, 2017 by Funk³
blackparkas
Yes, if we´ve had a couple of more days in town, it would have been possible to go to Bassdirect, but we´re there just thu-sunso we´ll be staying in London.

The purple finish is lovey and the Wenge neck is gorgeous.
IJE
Sheldon (who owns / makes them) usually comes to the Bass show in London every year in March and has lots of his basses on show at the bass direct booth. Super nice dude as well. Would be worth going:)
