Dingwalls in London?

Does any of the stores in London generally have any Dingwalls in stock?

Going there by the end of January and were hoping to be able to try some out...
I noticed that the gallery didn´t have any in stock according to their website.

Don't think so, Bassdirect is the place to try Dingwalls in stock. I've never been though, got both of mine (and the one I had before) secondhand.

Distance selling regulations at least would let you buy it and send it back

Easy train journey from London..

London Marylebone to Leamington is about 1h 30 minutes, then it's about 5 minute a in a taxi to Bass Direct.

The Gallery seems to get them in sporadically, might want to wait and see if they do rather than going all the way to Bass Direct,

Yes, if we´ve had a couple of more days in town, it would have been possible to go to Bassdirect, but we´re there just thu-sunso we´ll be staying in London.

I have one such Dingwall and it's very, very good, well worth the trip to take a look if you are able to! The purple finish is lovey and the Wenge neck is gorgeous.

Sheldon (who owns / makes them) usually comes to the Bass show in London every year in March and has lots of his basses on show at the bass direct booth. Super nice dude as well. Would be worth going:)
