I just mentioned to my wife that I was thinking of buying a T-Bird I just spotted locally on Gumtree and she said sure, that's fine ...... If you sell one of your other bases first . Quote
Downdown Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 You've all got the wrong partners if this sort of thing is an issue. As long as you can afford it and haven't sold your first-born into slavery, what's the problem? Mine wouldn't care a hoot. In fact she'd probably not even notice amongst all the other music/PA gear stacked up around the house. But happy new year anyway. Quote

mikel Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Nice one, love it. I have a friend who has about 25, or so, bikes. His secret? all of them are black. When he buys a new one and his wife sees it for the first time, and says "Is that new?" he says "This, nah, had it for years". All your basses need to be the same colour. Quote

As long as you're not buying it with credit or putting off a more important purchase by buying it, then where's the problem? Since joining this *@!?ing forum I've gone from three basses to nine!!!
