Hi - I've recently purchased a Fender Jazz and it doesn't sit level on the stands that I use for my other bass/guitars. Short of bending one of the arms, I can't see a way round the problem. Nothing expensive, just a means of keeping it upright between sets etc. Any recommendations?
Thanks

Wouldn't something like this work?

With a bit to hold the neck up

Hercules grab stands work fine with my jazz and Dingwalls.. gs414b I think

Well padded as well....You can load and unload one handed as well - great for bass swapping..

I'm with Mark on the Hercules GS414B. I have my T-bird on one. I'm sure someone will be along soon enough to say they do balance on standard A frame stands but these are more secure. The Hercules stuff supposedly doesn't damage the finish either.

+1 for the Hercules stands. Because the bass hangs rather than sits the offset body makes no difference. They're the only stands I'll use and have been for about 8 years now.
In fact, I Just got a new triple one for my birthday and my Jazz is sitting on it very happily right now along with my Precision and my Ray.

Just to post another choice to Herc stands - which are as good as have been described for non-symmetrical bodies - I have this one as well:

Works just as well and folds down smaller, too. Better leg locking mechanism, to boot.
