alyctes
Not a relic fan, personally. Other than that it looks nice
JacksonBass
Fender call it "road worn" when they do it. I reckon it's the naffist thing you can do to a guitar - pretend you play it a lot.
Happy Jack
I've always been impressed with the wear patterns that Nash inflict on their poor instruments. Given how many photographs exist in the public domain of genuinely old basses with genuine wear patterns, it's really impressive that Nash always manage to make their basses look like a 10-year-old was let loose with an electric sander for a few minutes. Still, £1500 eh? There really is one born every minute.
Bassassin
Leaving aside the whole marmite "relic" thing - this is what I don't get: It's a basic Fender Jazz copy. Why is it £1500?
JacksonBass
Putting Marmite on it would be more a more authentic addition than a mocking it up to look like you've practiced. Can you imagine someone who does actually practice three hours a day buying a "road worn" bass 🤣
