beerdragon
The Torzal twist bass, ergonomically designed to prevent RSI. Anyone seen one of these? Kiwi
I haven't but I like the look of them. That kind of design would be perfect for an ERB. Can you imagine having that twisted neck on a Dingwall?
Bassassin
Some good pics & info here: http://www.littleguitarworks.com/instrumen...zalstandard.php Trying to get my head around how this works - how string height can stay constant along a neck that presumably has a degree of curvature. It's making my head hurt! Engineering aside - I would be fascinated to try one. Jon.

Jon.
If the Neck could be twisted about an axis that was (notionally) a string at a reasonable height above the 'board along its length... That might work, but well done to them for crafting it to that degree of accuracy!
EdwardHimself
yeah i was thinking about that, the strings must defy the laws of physics or summt! Hah nah bet it's expensive tho, even without all that enqineering it's still a very finely crafted instriment made out of some very nice woods. wazz
As this was featured in the April 3rd issue of the magazine and the video has a few obvious edits methinks this may be an April fool. Am I being cynical?
MacDaddy
I had a bass with a neck like that once. I think it had been left in the sun.

Here is a custom design Jerome Little did for Xavier Padilla - Padilla Custom Torzal Bass Guitar. You can see Padilla playing it here with the Gipsy Kings: Padilla bass solo.
