Morning All,

I've been having a bit of a headache trying to find pickups that would fit the 2 single screw setup for my Yammy ( see photo ) can anyone help on the matter? Ideally after a Bridge Passive.

Hey, 1st post !

Welcome to the forum :)

NIce bass - would you be able to measure the pickups ? They don't look the same dimensions as, say, Jazz bass pickups, so the dimensions might suggest some alternatives.

These are custom pickups... yamaha is your best bet... or if you can get them rewound, or you are looking at a complete ground up custom. Epoxy cast would probably be best, using your original pickup to create the impression.

Hi guys, forgot to check back to the forum.

These are Customs Yamaha ones to fit, I swear I seen somebody somewhere on the tin'net had replaced them with two single screw ones as whats installed.

Ive had a small look around for the bridge to be rewound to give higher quality sound even though its matched to the neck pickup (that is more like a P bass sound) I would like some more ooomph from the bridge overall.

Sadly I am not a fan of Fender Jazz's unless its a full blown USA model, and I've had this Yammy for 10 years and this baby aint going!

Just noticed the bass here: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/MARUSZCZYK_Elwood_4p_Multiscale_white.html
Referred to in another thread. Those Delano Pickups look like they might be in the right ballpark size and shape-wise. Don't suppose they are that cheap though!
