LITTLEWING
We're ditching our dinosaur size music stands and going for iPads. Yes, I know we should have all our shiz memorised by now but they're simply handy for set lists and various prompts for those songs that a bunch of lyrics always seem to run away when you come to sing. Doesn't help with age either.....(sigh) Anyway, these babies that attach to mic stands start from under ten quid to nearly forty so what one is the most usable?? JapanAxe
Go for quality with a Hercules HA300 - comes with 2 different mic stand attachments plus a handy desk-top stand. Will be using mine on a reading gig tomorrow night...
largo
Funnily enough, I'm just about to do the same. I already have a mic stand so ideally want something that clamps to the mic stand instead of a separate stand just for the iPad. Need the ability to adjust the iPad holder & a wee bit length so I can see it. Haven't got it yet but the Quiklok IPS10 looks good for me unless someone suggests something different. Sorry to hijack your thread.
Westie9
K&M do one which allows you to keep the iPad in the case. Like always you get what you pay for.
GremlinAndy
I use the iKlip not too expensive but does the job. (Also not the cheapest)
TrevorR
I use the Air Turn Manos. Quite robust and clamps to the mic stand. Only complaint is that the x-axis swivel is a little less firm than it might be. Overall works well, though with my increasingly ancient and weighty iPad
