Hats off to you Andy, that's an amazing conversion sir I have 2 new Harley Benton Stingray-alikes sitting in my loft bedroom gathering dust because they are boat anchors, one is the 2 pickup version. Fantastic sounding basses but no good to me. What kind of cost is involved in just removing weight without all the painting and cover making? Also great for us HB fans to have someone who really knows what they're talking about to pronounce on their inherent quality. I have a HB Jazz which is heavy but plays and sounds so nicely.
