For sale is my Rob allen fretless 5 string bass..
Strung with labella 760ns.
Walnut top,
Semi hollow swamp ash body,
Tortouise binding.
Birds eye maple neck,
Dots on the side,
Piezo under bridge pick up,
Volume built onto bridge.
The warmest punchyest fattest sounding fretless i've ever played.
The Labella 760ns make the intonation quite forgiving and the strings flexible and warm sounding.
I bought this as it was the closest sounding like an upright bass, the range of tones you can get with your right hand position is incredible.
Bought for nearly £3000 a few months ago, painfull to sell as its such a nice piece of kit but I need to fund other projects so selling.
Absolute perfect A1+++ condition.
Comes with skb case if you want it.
Collection prefered but willing to travel a resonable distance or we can discuss courier arrangements.http://s1126.photobucket.com/user/rededshred/library/

I have one of these identical. It is a wonderful instrument. They are so well made and so beautifully light as well as having an awesome tone. The thick undertones - the chocolate mwah you get would be enough but then you find the totally surprising sparking harmonics. I have also used mine a lot for doing Jameson lines, somehow it just grabs that 60's thump and dishes the dirt. These are outstanding instruments. Have a BUMP on me.

I've had quite a few offers now, going to give it 24 hours so if anyone is considering this now is a good time or is probably going to go..

What a beaut, someone's going to be pleased - if I didn't have a Wal 5 fretless I would be going for these!

GLWTS
