TheGreek
For fun only...as it's unlikely that anybody will ever know. We've all got the same amount of info/ clues...the bridge looks familiar. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/custom-bass-guitar-/222373516446?hash=item33c67e949e:g:XyIAAOSwA3dYdLVP

Bassassin
A nice bass?
Certainly a nicer bass. My first thought was Ibanez SR or SRX - modern ones use the same bridge and the control cover's the right shape, but other things don't match up. So not that, but something related - a different Ibby, or something from the same factory - a Cort, maybe. Edit - pups & bridge would match a Cort GB74. (I actually like the headstock shape, for some reason. I think it's because it's so resolutely non-pointy.)
kodiakblair
I'm more perplexed by the other "custom" build showing below it. Does rotating a tuner and cutting half the scratchplate away mean custom. Okay it's £100 for a Concord but still !! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-built-electric-bass-guitar-j048800050071sh/162347250382?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D40794%26meid%3Dccc34f6d8f3448999f2063601bd35586%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D222373516446

tauzero
Thought it might have been a Yamaha SBV-500 but the remaining bit of body doesn't fit that theory and the headstock's a bit skinnier.
Fortunately not - too many frets & an SBV has no rear routing. Still thinking some sort of Cort...
