lowdown
Yes, that video is great. She is one of my favourite singers. Everything about her is class. Apart from the great intonation and phrasing, she has a lovely tone to her voice. The band in the video are rocking as well.

Conan
Loved her first couple of albums, bought thought she became a bit anodyne after that. Must admit though, I stopped listening to her in about 1990 - so her more recent stuff may well be great! Think I'll go and do a bit of catching up... That video is bloody awesome. Mystery is still one of my all-time favourite soul tracks - lovely bass line too Edited January 18, 2017 by Conan
TheGreek
I remember she had a cracking album out the end of the 80s but lost her after that - must catch up...

bubinga5
IMO. one of the best Anita Baker records. Freddie Washington slapping on that P Bass i believe. This is what soul music and her music, is all about for me. She's without doubt my desert island music. I think me and my sister have everything she's ever recorded between us, and been to see her live seven times. We can sit and listen to most of her albums and sing the lyrics back to back. Freaky soul loving brother and sister. Edited February 3, 2017 by bubinga5

bubinga5
The Perry Sister's sang backing vocals for her, all the way through Rapture, Giving you the Best that I've Got and Composition's. The call themselves Perri. I had the pleasure of meeting Lori Perri backstage in Birmingham. Phenomenal singer who has done work with Prince, Al Jarreau, George Benson. This album is absolute gold dust imo.!! Its called the Flight. Incredible singing and amazing bass playing and the Keys are fabulous.. I have it on Vinyl, (which is so hard to get) Cassette and CD. In my top 5 albums. its so so good. Everytime i put it on it brings back amazing memories. Excuse the quality.
