wateroftyne
Wow... Sire really seem to be listening to the market. Fender have a lot to learn.
Bigwan
Saw that this morning. Have to say I'm a little disappointed. I hoped they'd go with a more vintage style. A proper vintage spec P on a budget would have been much more appealing...
NJE
I think the next 5 string might well be a Sire, but I cant get over those stocked knobs sticking out so far. This P looks great but much like the jazzes, i would love to see a passive version despite being a fan of active basses.....its just those controls!!! Lw.
It looks like they've closed their eyes & taken a random scoop out of the control knobs bucket.
Huge Hands
Oh dear. If they do this in a 5, I will be in trouble as the GAS will brew again! NJE - my V7 J works in passive mode as well as active (hence the switch) and I use it in that mode most of the time. You forget about the hundreds of knobs after a while! Marc S
Yes, those stacked knobs do look a little off-putting to my eye. Other than that, they do look great basses. Never tried a Sire, but wouldn't mind trying one of these
Wilco
I was already thinking of adding an M7 & fretless V7 to my existing two, now there's a third option. Damn you GAS........

Bridgehouse
I always thought it was bad enough that you had to watch where you were waving your headstock about - I'd be really worried if it was more of a concern that you might take someone's eye out with your stacked knobs! Harryburke14
Well its bound to be good methinks. Another one to the GAS list, a GAS list thats already 9 deep...
Funky Dunky
Dang. I can see me ending up with one of these.
