gjones
It can sometimes give people the wrong idea that they dropped the product because it's not very good ,The ABM1000 & ABM neo cabs are excellent
Yes. I own a Mibass 550 which is a very, nice sounding D class head, that's small enough to fit into a gigbag. They don't make anything that can compete with GK or Aguilar, class D heads - i.e. compact and loud, any longer. I think they're going retro. BassBod
Rootmasters...and Retroglide? They are a bit heavier to be fair, but not exactly large, or lacking power. Edited January 21, 2017 by BassBod
Lozz196
Yeah the Rootmasters are great, I have one as my backup amp but I`d be totally fine to gig it - in fact it was hearing one being gigged by another Basschatter that inspired me to buy mine, as well as trying one briefly at the London Bass Guitar Show last year - always best to hear an amp in the live world imo. Ok it`s a tad heavier than the usual Class D micro-amps, but still easy to cart about in a laptop bag or something similar. And power, well the 500 which I have has plenty. BassBod
Seems odd to say it, but one reason I went from Aguilar TH500 to the Retroglide was its stronger metal casing - feels much more gig worthy. I'm sure the internals aren't much different..but it stays where you put it.
