Great bloke, great bass player, stunnung vocals and a great band.

Touring UK this month, I am going for my first gig on this tour, it will not be the last, on Monday at the Robin2.

Anyone else going to see the voice of rock and funk ? B)

I would live to see him but he's not coming near me this time. £22.50 is a fair price. A mate took me to Nils Logfren last year. Nils with no band, just (a very talented) sideman £42.50!!!

Supporting him is a band called Stone Broken - get there to see them if you are going, great heavy rock band, nice chaps too (supported them recently!).

Seen him play a couple of times before so I might give it a miss this time, the album's not bad though so should be a good show. If it had been the original package with Living Colour I might have gone but I've listened to some Stone Broken and they are a bit so-so for me. Good gig last night at Rescue Rooms btw, Tyketto on good form.

I have seen GH dozens of times, with Trapeze inc the infamous one's in Cannock, and many solo tours and if anything hes getting better and better !!!

Let me know if any other bass players from here are going and we can share a beer or three at the bar, ?.

You will love G,

decent young support band,

Glenn is a superb bass player and stunning vocalist with a great band covering some Trapeze, Purple, BCC and solo stuff.

Your gonna love it !!!

Seen him live 3 times now. My favorite vocalist without question and I think a very underrated bass player too. Far funkier than any pick player has any right to be.

I find it astounding that his voice and range haven't deteriorated at all despite him being well into his 60s and if anything it seems stronger than ever - something that can't be said for the majority of his contemporaries.

Unfortunately though it looks like I'll miss him This Time Around - you see what I did there? ;)

I know I should but I'd be worried it could become something of an Addiction and I'd end up following the tour from Coast To Coast.

I'm sorry. I'm try and leave off the puns.....

....From Now On. :D

Had a ticket for the previous tour, arranged to meet Spanish friend at gig.
Lost ticket in a clear out.
Found ticket torn in half in recycling bin.
Sellotaped it together.
Hughes cancelled tour.
Arranged to meet friend at tube station near venue anyway, to go for a meal.
Drove 130 miles to venue, including one hour to travel one mile at Oxford.
Waited at tube station.
Waited at tube station.
Walked to venue to see if friend was there.
Waited at tube station.
Waited at tube station.
Bought sandwich and cup of tea.
Drove 130 miles home.
Tube problems had prevented friend form getting there and his phone had died.

Going to see Fairport Convention instead.

Just saw the man in Bristol.

Amazing, great show especially considering what he has just gone through. Glen's voice was out this world

Stone Broken, great show also, seem really cool guys, best of to them
