Great pedal from Ampeg, with a number of uses:[list]
[*][u][b]Preamp pedal[/b][/u] - three band EQ, plus Bass and Treble boost buttons to add some extra bottom, sparkle, or both to your sound
[*][u][b]DI box[/b][/u] - even without the preamp engaged, you can use the pedal as a DI to send a clean signal from your bass to the mixing desk
[*][u][b]Scrambler feature[/b][/u] - essentially distortion, which you can blend in from subtle to heavy distortion, even without the preamp section turned on
[*][u][b]Practice amp[/b][/u] - plug in your headphones and bass and you can practice without waking the neighbours
