PaulWarning
DR Neons (green or pink), guage? whatever's cheapest, must admit can't tell the difference, but then I use a pick and it's probably all in the fingers
LITTLEWING
I've always used 45 - 105 simply out of habit. I fancy trying 40 - 100 but I don't know if they're going to lose 'fatness' in the sound. Just how much difference actually is there? I know there'll be slightly less tension but maybe that will make me play a bit lighter.
zapp
D'Addario half round 45-100. As quiet as flats (almost) but with enough punch and zing for the occasional smack about.

thodrik
40-100 just now for standard tuning but usually 45-105. 50-120 for anything from D standard down to C standard on a four string. For five strings, generally 45-135. Not really fussy about going a gauge heavier or lighter though.
Skybone
Good old 45-105 7350M Fender Stainless for me. Reasonably priced, hard wearing and sound good. Used Warwick Red Label's for a while (45-105 Stainless), they were about £10 from Thomann (plus £10 postage). Buy 4 packs and they were still cheaper than anything you could get in the UK. They were a bit rough though. Bought a batch of the Fender's from Thomann, until I found somewhere in the UK that did them at a better price & free postage. Result.
