Papegaei, Delirium's beer and Tripel Karmeliet, La Trappe, Rochefort 10 are firm favourites. Edited January 23, 2017 by bartelby

Hellohehehe
bartelby, Ahhh the Rochefort 10! I like too... And la Super des Fagnes, Leffe, Orval... mmMMmm EliasMooseblaster, you know what is good héhéhé! Every year, in Liberchies, there is a festival, a "manouche festival" (gipsy), where a lot of bands play some Grapelli and Reinhardt's musics. A great place Thanks! The owner, "Gus" is a really nice man. Really funny guy too. We grew up together and still have a band going but we dont get to play together very often any more. We did a warm up gig in Hotten a few months ago and then went to Luxembourg. Very good experience. I think the Team Building is a way to please the Chamber of Commerce! But it makes him money, so that is good. It is a good recording studio too and well enough equipped.
Hellohehehe
I must say that it's a good idea for making money for the bad days It's funny and a good experience for people who always wanna try a pro studio and act like a rockstaaaar
Bbiigg Kev
I love Belguim, Spirit of 66 in Verviers is a great venue, some great bands have been on that stage !!!!
Hellohehehe
Hi Bbiigg Kev! The Spirit of 66! You know that! Amazing A great little place in Verviers, with a lot of good bands there. One of my friends' parents had a pub near the Spirit. I used to go there at the beginning, around 95-96 i think. The place is still very good, but Verviers is a so sad city now... Bbiigg Kev
Hi Mr Hellohehehe, Yes, I have been known to pop in for many of the decent bands that play there, plenty of UK bands play there as you know, I drag the Mrs along for a dirty weekend at the Van der Valk hotel Verviers on occasion , she is Dutch so we take in a lot of Euro shows. Verviers is a nice place but as you say is in the process of regeneration but as you know the place is only 20k from Spa, the best F1 circuit in the world, also done many a track day there, and one of my favourite places as the countryside is stunning, I love the Malmedy, Stavelot and Spa triangle which made up the old F1 circuit which you can still travel/race on for quite a bit of it until it reaches/joins the current circuit. By the way I live the BEERS

Lots of drunken women trying to sing! He does video for it too. I couldn't cope but I think he enjoys the madness of it! And the money! DrBike
Hi Cedric, I've spent a lot of time in Belgium. The first time as a secondment for work and the second time I lived there for 5 years (firstly in Vilvoorde and then in Brussels (Schaarbeek). I used to go to the AB, Botanique and Cirque Royal regulary to watch bands. My favourite Belgian band by far is Sharko but I've seen Hooverphonic, Admiral Freebie, Ghinzu and the unforgettable Hank Harry (amongst others). Welcome to Basschat
Hellohehehe
Hi DrBike! 2 weeks ago, Sharko was playing at 10 min far from my house! Hank Harry! A bit crazy this guy but good! héhéhé Girls in Hawaii, Ghinzu, Hollywood Porn Stars, dEUS, Malibu Stacy, Hooverphonic of course and, an incredible guy, Arno! He drinks too much, but soooo good! Schaerbeek is not what is was some years ago... sadly! The AB is still a very good place to go! I like a lot too! Thanks Edited January 26, 2017 by Hellohehehe
DrBike
My personal opinion is that Sharko are one of the best bands I've ever heard, it's a shame that they don't get more recognition. I've seen Girls in Hawaii, Hollywood Pornstars and Malibu Stacy all supporting/on the same bill as Sharko. I saw Hooverphonic at a festival in Lokeren. The only 2 Belgian bands that would have love to have seen were dEUS and K's Choice

Hellohehehe
Bonjour la France Where are you from, in France, Kalwynn? Bretagne, with a pseudo like this one? North-west of France? Bbiigg Kev, damn, i forgot the caps! Sorry DrBike, in Begium, it's not easy to be well known across Europe or the world. Not a lot's of money is allowed to music, and maybe not enough ambition...
Kalwynn
Yes, "Kalwynn" may sound a bit like a Celtic-inspired nickname ! I'm not far from Brittany yes ! I used to live there and it's still my favourite area for my holidays !
