I spoke to the seller a while back. He said they are the original SD 1/4 pounders and he saw the bass fresh out the box in the shop. Of course, it's a load of rubbish, as the pole pieces on those pickups are supposed to be larger, and not stick out further than the plastic covers.

Yeah the bursts are cool. Prices are creeping up on Peaveys,,,,,,,,,,,no Cirruses around though

I wonder how long prices will go up. There's only a small number of folks interested in Peaveys. Posted a poll for Peavey owner age groups and the vast majority were 35+,many of them were buying Peaveys to replace ones they'd sold 20 year back.

There were no owners under 18 so once the over 35's are sated where will the continuing interest come from ?
